Dolphin Playground (presence is not guaranteed) We know it all. The Philippines, an archipelago of 7107 islands, is blessed with gorgeous white sand beaches. But beyond the ivory coasts and underneath the waves is the colorful, magical, and wildly spectacular world of marine animals. Some of them are marine mammals like whales and dolphins. We may not see them all the time but they are there, swimming and gliding across the blues. If you’re lucky, you may get an opportunity to see and watch them.
Balicasag Island - is a 1.5 acre island that is famous as a marine sanctuary and place for snorkeling and diving. Balicasag Island is a 30-45 minute boat ride from Alona Beach, Panglao Island in Bohol, Philippines. Panglao is most noted for its pristine white beaches, diving sites, and world-class resorts.
Balicasag Marine Sanctuary - The top of the submarine cliffs are covered with the hard coral while lower levels are covered with sponges and gorgonians. A thriving fish community is found around the cliff area.
Virgin Island Sandbar - is One (1) of the Most Beautiful Sandbars in the Philippines is a very long stretch of fine white sandbar. There are no people living in the island, what one can see there are the white sand beach, clear waters. During low tide, the sandbar stretches more than a hectare. Virgin Island is just 20 minutes away from Panglao Island, Bohol.
