DAY 1 – ARRIVE AT SAPPORO​​

  • Welcome to Hokkaido! Upon your arrival, we'll meet and transfer you to Sapporo, the heart of winter festivities.

  • This Season, Odori Park transforms into a magical wonderland with the Sapporo While Illumination. Trees and Structures are decorated with thousands of sparkling lights, creating a beautiful winter scene. 

  • Enjoy strolling through the Christmas Market, where you can sip warm drinks, try holiday treats, and browse unique, handmade gifts. 

  • And if you're visiting in February, the Sapporo Snow Festival awaits, showing breathtaking snow and ice sculptures crafted by artists from around the world. These seasonal spectacles capture the warmth and excitement of Hokkaido's Winter Charm.

DAY 2 – SAPPORO - OIWAKE - CHITOSE​

  • Today's adventure takes us South to Oiwake Town for an unforgettable dog sledding experience.

  • After a brief lesson, you'll be harnessed to a team of enthusiastic huskies, ready to race across the snow-covered landscape. Feel the thrill as you glide through the vast snowfields, steering your own sled while enjoying the speed, power, and teamwork of these magnificent dogs.

  • Take time to connect with the dogs during the breaks and capture incredible photos of this high-energy, once-in-a-lifetime experience.

  • For lunch, savor delicious local flavors in Oiwake before heading to Chitose Here a special snow circuit awaits you for some ice karting thrills. Feel the excitement of navigating a go-kart on a track made of snow and ice with snow-covered mountains in the background. Race with friends and enjoy the adrenaline as you drift around corners. This Wintery Twist on kart racing is sure to be a highlight.

  • In the evening, return to Sapporo for dinner in the lively Susukino Dristrict where you'll find endless options for savoring authentic Hokkaido Cuisine. Chitose Icefall Festival is also our recommendation. (Pay on the spot)

DAY 3 – SAPPORO - SHINOTSU - TOUBETSU

  • Today, we head to Lake Shinotsu for a classic Hokkaido Winter Activity: Ice Fishing for Wakasagi (Smelt). After drilling a hole in the thick ice, drop your line in and see if you can catch some fish. The best part? You'll enjoy some tempura made from your catch right by the lake, giving you a true taste of Hokkaido's Winter Bounty.

  • It's a relaxing, fun way to experience the quiet beauty of a frozen lake, surrounded by snow-dusted trees and mountains.

  • After lunch, we'll visit the famous Royce Chocolate Factory. Here you'll get an insider's look at the production of Hokkaido's renowned chocolates, from luscious truffles to creamy Name Chocolates. Sample some treats, explore the variety of unique flavors, and pick up gifts and souvenirs to take home. Finally, end your day with a stroll through Tanukikoji Shopping Street, a covered arcade with shops and stalls selling everything from traditional crafts to trendy fashion and local snacks. You'll have a blast exploring this lively shopping spot before settling down for dinner with more local specialties.

DAY 4 - SAPPORO

  • Today is yours to explore Sapporo at your leisure, or you can opt for a unique winter experience with a trip to Jozankei.

  • The scenic Hoheikyo River in Jozankei si transformed in winter, creating the perfect setting for a Snow Rafting Adventure. Drifting along the river, wrapped in blankets as you marvel at the snow-laden landscapes around you. This tranquil experience lets you enjoy the beauty of winter from the water's edge, surrounded by frozen waterfalls and shimmering ice formations. Keep your eyes peeled, this area is home to wildlife like the Ezo Deer, Red Foxes, and even Majestic Eagles. Spotting these creatures against the Pristine White backdrop is a memory that will last a lifetime.

DAY 5 - FAREWELL TO HOKKAIDO

  • On your final day, you'll have free time for any last-minute shopping or exploring. When it's time to depart, we'll pick you up from your hotel and take you to the airport.
