ITINERARY

DAY 1 - HO CHI MINH CITY ARRIVAL

  • Welcome to Da Nang! The driver will be welcoming you at Da Nang airport; transfer to hotel then check-in at hotel and relax. Please note: Standard check in time is 14:00. Early check in is subject to availability of the hotel.

DAY 2 - CU CHI TUNNELS - HO CHI MINH (Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner)​

  • Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the long struggle for independence. After lunch visit Ho Chi Minh Museum, the former Presidential Palace (outside), from there on you will go on foot (the car will be available at all times) to visit the major sights of colonial Ho Chi Minh City: the Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Saigon Post Office, Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat), Continental Hotel, Opera House and City Hall. Overnight in Saigon. Lunch: Local food | Dinner: Local food

DAY 3 - HO CHI MINH - MY THO - HO CHI MINH (Breakfast & Lunch)

  • Breakfast at hotel. Taking 2 hours' drive to My Tho, southwest of Ho Chi Minh City to the Mekong Delta which is known as the rice bowl of Vietnam. Upon arrival, take a boat cruise around islets and tropical orchards through the canal of Vam Xep to reach a small islet, followed by a relaxing walk along shady and palm fringed trails passing by local villages where you can see their peaceful daily life. Stop en route to visit a bee farm, sip special tea with honey and sample fruits with a local family and share their stories of life in the Mekong Delta. Visit a small coconut workshop, just to get a glimpse of typical family run business in this area. Walk to a lane where a horse-drawn cart awaits you to transfer to visit handicraft village, a coconut candy factory, enjoy tropical fruit, traditional music and then relaxation with rowing boat through the narrow under shade palm, tree-lined canals of Mekong River before returning to My Tho by motorized boat. Back Ho Chi Minh. Transfer to the airport for flight to your next destination or your home. Lunch at the local restaurant. (The regular check-out time for all hotels is 12:00pm. Late check-out is subject to availability)
