You will then be dropped off at the pier where you commence a motor boat journey along the river passing by houses on stilts and fish farms on the way. On arrival at Turtle Island, visit a local house to sample freshly picked fruit and coconut milk while sitting in natural surrounds of their fruit orchards. Engage in a casual chat with the host and stroll around his garden to get an insight into daily farming life. Embark on a further boat ride with an optional stop at the small yet interesting Tan Thach market. There is also a chance to see a family run-business where they make coconut candy right at the pier. The next leg of the journey involves being paddled on a sampan through a maze of small canals.
